Don is an executive business coach and advisor dedicated to accelerating the growth and success of Canadian business leaders and their companies. Specializing in helping clients achieve peak levels of professional and personal achievement, Don works with each client to attain clarity of purpose, direction, and priorities, and to stay on track to achieve their goals.
Don is experienced in the challenges and opportunities of achieving peak levels of business performance and brings this knowledge to the forefront in working with his clients. Don has over 35 years of experience in business leadership and development including: executive leadership and management, team development and leadership, client relationship management, strategic account management, sales methodologies and management, marketing management, project management, research, strategic planning, change management, economics, and communications.
Don is an active member of the Saskatoon business community. He owns Onyva Management Consulting Inc., established in 2008. Don operates under the name FocalPoint Business Coaching which is dedicated to enhancing the growth and achievement of Canadian business leaders and their companies. Don is a Certified Business & Executive Coach affiliated with FocalPoint International Canada. He is an active member of the Saskatchewan Better Business Bureau for over 12 years, holding positions as Director and Board Chair for over 10 years. He was an Executive Coach and Group Chair affiliated with TEC Canada (The Executive Committee). He is a past member of the International Coaches Federation (ICF) and the Prairie Professional Coaches Association (PPCA), The North Saskatoon Business Association (NSBA), The Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and the Saskatchewan Better Business Bureau. He also served as a volunteer coach mentor with Leadership Saskatoon and with the Raj Manek Mentorship Program. He is also a volunteer member of the Federation des Francophone de Saskatchewan Comite du batiment.
A Saskatchewan resident for over 20 years, Don was born and raised in south central Manitoba. A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Don and his family has lived in Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan, and has worked extensively in all regions of Canada.
